What Can You Find There?

At the Puakō Petroglyph Archaeological Preserve, you‘ll be able to see 1,200 petroglyphs. However, there are some parts in the park that are off-limits to tourists and if we consider those areas too then there are around 3,000 carvings all over the place. Experts have found carvings of paddlers, sails, marchers, dancers, family groups, deity symbols, and animals such as dogs, chickens, and turtles.
