You might get a look at the government’s inner workings but there are a plethora of secrets that still remains hidden inside those walls.

Emergency Escape

One of the well-known secrets amongst those is the trap door situated under the president’s desk which is to be used for escape access should the president wish to make a quick getaway. The door is touted to be connected to an underground command center where the president can further resume in complete safety.

We wish all had a trap door like that to escape the unwanted guests.

Disney World

Commonly known as The Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland has most certainly explored the main four parks – Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studio, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kindom Park. But the thing is that most of the people don’t know is that there exists a secret fifth park.

Discovery Island

Discovery Island was the fifth park that was located in Disneyland. Discovery Island was an animal-themed park. This park was last operational in 1999, and when Disney unveiled the Animal Kingdom, they realized that they had to shut the Discovery Island as there was room for only one animal-themed park.

Gifted by France to the United States this statue was a highlight to their alliance during the American Revolution. But many people do not know a fact about the statue that is hidden really well from the common people.

The Torch

People usually wait in line to get a view inside of Lady Liberty’s crown, but the thing that very fewer people know that there was a room which was even higher than the crown’s room. There lies a room in the torch of the statue which is now closed for the visitors since 1916. When an explosion at a munitions depot nearby left it in ruins.
