Always On Mind

Since day one, the hatch was always in the back of their minds. But it was so filthy that they didn’t have the strength to clean it up and see what was inside it. But now when they were cleaning the whole house, they thought of hatch too. When Carol saw it, she was just thinking how would she clean this mess up. The hatch had dust piled up on it and she was reluctant to open it up. The reason behind it was obvious, she was afraid that there might be some insects that could bite her. Would she still open the hatch?
