Liz Lockyer went to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution charity held in Teignmouth back in 2013. She fancied one particular painting that had flowers in it. Since she was also an artist, she felt that the artwork would be of help to her. She bought it for just $6 but realized it was a Mary Moser original.
