Introduction

Since the dawn of civilization, the great empires and world powers have devoted their time and money to building the biggest, deadliest military technology they possibly could. With the invention of the aircraft, we managed to reach new levels of military protection, technology, intelligence, and warfare.

The aircrafts you are about to see are pure war machines. Many of these flying beasts have rarely been seen by civilian eyes, with only a few known photographs in circulation. They are war machines for a reason and is not meant for the sight of civilians on a regular day. Their operations are so far kept confidential and highly protected to maintain security.

The Caspian Sea Monster

Imagine a cool Russian aircraft, made for flying really low, like just above the ground, for important jobs like military and rescue missions. This plane was pretty unique and experimental, the only one of its kind ever made. Unfortunately, it got destroyed at some point.

But here’s the fun part: you can still hop into one and take it for a spin in Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X! It’s like a virtual adventure where you get to experience what it’s like to fly this one-of-a-kind plane, even if it’s no longer around in real life. So, you can have some flying fun without leaving your computer.

The Xian H-6 Bomber

In 1958, a Chinese airplane took its very first flight, and it went on to have a pretty long career in the military. This airplane, called the H-6 bomber, also worked for the Egyptian and Iraqi Air Forces, but it retired from those jobs in 1991 and 2000, respectively. After that, there were many different versions of this plane made.

With some changes in how it worked, how much stuff it could carry, and how it could refuel. So, over the years, this airplane got updated and improved in various ways. It’s performance enhanced with each upgrade. It’s kind of like how you might upgrade your computer or phone to make it better and more modern.

MiG-21 Fighter

A long time ago, the Soviet Union made an airplane, and surprisingly, it’s still flying in the skies today, over 50 years later. This airplane, called the MiG-21, is quite special. It became the most-made supersonic jet ever, used by many, many countries. It’s even the most-produced warplane since the Korean War began.

In simple words, it’s like a tough and cool beast that never really goes out of fashion. So, even though it’s been around for a while, this plane is still a big deal in the world of flying machines, and people from various countries still find it useful and impressive.

The Kongjing-2000 Radar Plan

Imagine a special Chinese plane that’s all about watching and keeping an eye on things from the sky. This airplane first took off in 2003 and it’s designed to use radar to track fighter planes and missiles. It can spot fighters from up to 470 meters away and missiles from as far as 1,200 meters.

That’s like being able to see things that are pretty far away! And in 2013, they even upgraded it to a new version with super-advanced radar. So, it’s like having a high-tech airplane that’s like a flying radar station, helping to keep an eye on what’s happening in the skies and making sure everyone is safe.

The Convair B-36 Peacemaker

Well, the B-36 had its time as a peacemaker, but it didn’t last long as the main airplane for carrying nuclear weapons for the Strategic Air Command. It was the very first bomber that could carry nuclear weapons, and it could fly super long distances without needing to refuel.

But in 1959, it was time for it to retire, and a new plane called the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress took its place. So, even though it had an important role in the past, the B-36 was replaced by a newer and fancier plane. It’s like when your old toy gets replaced by a new and better one, but in this case, it was about important stuff like keeping the peace.
